Treatment Plan Expiration

Jump to solution

When printing a treatment sheet, at the top the fee has a expiration date.  Is there a way to make this update as a new treatment sheet is printed?  Or even remove this information?

For example:  A patient came in last Oct and received a tx sheet that expired 12/31/2019.  They did not have the work completed.  They came back in for a RECA a few days ago and we just needed to update pricing and reprint the treatment proposal and review again with patient.  However, the fee expiration still said 12/31/2019.

Re: Treatment Plan Expiration

Unfortunately, it won't update the date automatically.  The Expiration date is based on the date the tx plan was first created. By default, it sets the date 30 days later, though this can be changed within the configuration options.

The expiration is designed to make it so the fees at the time of the original proposal cannot be changed until after the date if the office happens to change their fees during that time.

You can do one of two things.  When you are editing a Tx plan you can click the Date box for the Fee expiration date and either delete the date and leave it blank, or change the date to the desired date in the future.
