"Charting started"

What is this?  I don't chart - EVER.  I may look in charting to view the history on a tooth when sending claims, but I NEVER chart.

That entry indicates that the chart was launched/opened on a machine while your initials were logged in. It doesn't mean anything was actually entered onto the chart. Simple opening the chart for a patient will create that entry.

If you don't want to see that line in your security simply go into:

File> Security> Edit Access Requirements

Scroll down to Event Type: Charting . In the Write to log switch it to Never. That is if you don't need to track who is starting the charting module.

@tsalcido @jdowner  I don't mind that my name is in there.  What I mind is the description being entirely inaccurate.  It should say "charting viewed" or "charting opened" - nothing more.
