I have spoken to helpdesk who was not able to resolve my query and suggested I ask on the Exchange as this might be a design issue.
We are trying to chart palatal veneers. There is no option to choose surfaces when charting veneers and as such a new code was created for " palatal veneers" - the problem is it doesnt show up as a veneer on the chart only in the description. In order for us to talk the patient through the treatment plan , it is important that it shows up on the chart as a veneer. The technician helping suggested that we add it as a composite filling so that it shows up in the chart , and yes it does show up as a filling but not a veneer. The problem is that if it shows up looking like a filling there is no way to distinguish between a filling and a palatal veneer.
IF you click on a normal veneer it comes us on the buccal side as a veneer on the chart, surely there must me a way of doing exactly the same but showing up on the chart on the buccal side ?
Help will be appreciated.
