We need to be able to have some CDT codes print in medical claim forms for procedures that do not have a corresponding CPT code. For example code D7240 is sometimes covered by medical but there is no CPT code for it so we previously were able to bill the CDT code, D7240, on a claim form in WinOMS however in Sensei it will not let me create a CPT code D7240. Anyone have a work around or suggestion?

Can you use 41899 and include a narrative?
Unfortunately many medical plans will not accept it and those that do would need a narrative which is extra steps when it would be so much easier if we can just bill the CDT code like we could in WinOMS.

I have entered quite a few "enhancement" requests but they don't seem to get any where. Some my doctors consider critical but it has been almost 2 months with no progress.
Just wondering if you were able to get this resolved? We are unhappy with WINOMS Cloud and Sensei Cloud was recommended, but we have not been able to get any feedback. We don't want to replace a problem with a problem. Support is a big issue for us. Any feedback with Sensei Cloud would be greatly appreciated.

We also had WinOMS Cloud and were fed up with the constant problems. We have just recently switched to Sensei. It has only been a couple of weeks so we are still very new to it but the one thing we really like is there have been no connection issues....so far.
Just wondering how Sensei is working out for you. Interested in any pros or cons?
We are 3 weeks into Sensei Cloud. Our implementation has been really challenging but Carestream listened and reacted. We used WIMOMS for 20 years - all features! It was clunky but worked. Sensei is very different. We are running it wireless in the office. We don't have a server anymore. We are definitely stuck in the shallow part of the learning curve. One of the problems is that we just don't know what to ask and what all is available. For example we learned that we can pay to have custom forms made. This is really helpful for us. One or two forms for patient registration are a game changer. But for two weeks we were looking for the forms tab until some one told us it was separate from sensei! At first I was like what? Not in Sensei, but I am using it and I liking it. We just started billing, Sent our first claims - dental only. Waiting to see. I am worried about the medical codes. Extractions, anesthesia and pathology related procedures.
Our office also has used WinOMS for over 23 years and the last couple were unbearable due issues with the cloud and images was a total nightmare but we are finding Sensei to be just a different set of headaches. One of my docs is ready to pull the plug after only 2 months in.
