2017 CDT Codes are Available

Hello SoftDent Community,

The 2017 CDT codes utility and instructions are now available on our customer portal.  Here is the link:  http://www.carestreamdental.com/us/en/customerportal 

Click CDT Updates - 2017 Codes and you'll see the page below:

Clicking Update Utility will start the download of a zip file containing the codes.  Clicking Installation Instructions will give you the steps to install the codes.

Hello Kay,

I'm glad you asked this question.  The new (2017) codes will be active as soon as you run the utility.  Besides waiting until January to install the update, there are a couple things you can do.  You can install the update and set the 11 new codes to "inactive" or you can simply turn them all off with one click by going to System -> Fees Maintenance -> Reset Insurance Plan CDT Version, as shown below.  Just remember to flip this same switch to 2017 in January.

Can we go ahead and install now or do we have to wait until January because of any code changes that affect 2016??
