Is there any way to place an alert on a patient's account?  We have patients who need to stop medications prior to treatment, and we have patients who do not want to receive reminder post cards, but we have no way to flag these alerts in the computer.  Any suggestions?

I use "Other management" under the options next to the patient list, then "Team Talk" to have pop ups on patients with individual requests.  You can set these alerts for entering a chart, scheduling an appt, confirming an appt, etc.  There are time frames (always, next event, for 6 mos, etc.) and the message is customizable.  Hope that helps you!

Trainer Tip, if you have speakers, you can also select a .WAV sound to get your attention

This is excellent information.  May I ask you this: When and how will these alerts "pop up"?

Dear Carrie,

This is excellent information.  Can you tell me when, and how these alerts will "pop up"?
