It would be nice if with the block slots you could copy and paste those when you are putting the same message across the schedule. I don't want to add them to my pre-defined messages because it is a one time thing for that day only.
This isn't exactly what you are looking for, but it helps a little bit.
When you create the first block, select all the text. Right click, select Copy.
When creating the next block, right click and select Paste.
