What report would you suggest to get a report that totals credit account balances as of 12/31/2020. We had a change of ownership and the new owners need the total amount of accounts that had credits at the end of 2020. I've done a user selected on the accounts but don't know if/how to put in the "as of 12//31/2020" date and it doesn't give me a total, I would have to manually add them all up.
You would run the Account Aging report, but remove all the checks on the boxes for aged balance, and instead click only for credit balances. Make you you click on the “largest balance first, and details of the accounts”
I caught the date, end of year. I believe you should be able to fill in the 56 days for the aged credit balances to be as of that date. If not, then you may have to get support to help you do so tweaks in order to run that report specific to that date. Usually the aged accounts report is aged from the date ran.
