SoftDent Spell Check Update

Is there any way to update the SoftDent "dictionary" with a database of common medical/dental terms so that when I am typing clinical notes I can be assured that my spelling is actually correct instead of being marked wrong, or that if I am incorrect that it can be easily fixed?

Re: SoftDent Spell Check Update

Good afternoon!

While there no mass dictionary update for medical/dental terminology, when you right click on the red, underlined word that is marked as misspelled, you have the option to "add" it to your dictionary and so it will not me marked as misspelled in the future.

Note - if you mark to "ignore" you are only ignoring the spelling for this note and it will appear red again in the next note in which the word is used.

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for your reply. We have been using the feature of adding words manually. However, we were hoping that by posting our request here a mass dictionary update might be considered for future versions of the software.
