I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I'm having?
When I reprint an old outstanding claim for resubmission, the new insurance I.D.# prints on the claim instead of the original, correct one. This is because the patient has changed insurance companies since that DOS.
In the past, we would be prompted with a pop-op screen that read: some insurance information has changed do you want to use the new or old information to print this claim? Lately that option hasn't been coming up all the time, yet all of the other old insurance information prints on claim as originally entered.
Does anyone know how I could fix this?
Check to see if the warnings are enabled:
1. Click System in the main menu bar.
2. Select Change System Settings.
3. Select General.
4. Click CDT Warnings.
5. Select Always Prompt.
6. Click OK to save the changes.

If you click Print Copy vs Submit Primary it should retain the claims original information, if not remove the ID and go with the SS number since it will work with either carrier, you can re add the ID after you submit the "old claim"
