SoftDent: How to Import or Scan an Image, Document, or X-Ray in to a Specific Category

 How do I import or scan documents into a specific category

Solution:

1. Select the record for whom the document is to be imported from within the patient or account listing.
2. Click Documents. Select Capture New Document. The document's information will be displayed with a default category selected.
3. Select the necessary category from the "Category" drop-down. Click OK.
4. Import or scan the image.

We are using version 16.8.2, and we have been using the document center for years.  we will usually import a .pdf, or a word document, or a .jpeg.  We use our own scanner and save to the desktop and import.
