We have multiple insurance companies entered numerous times in our system. I am trying to figure out the best way to clean this up to make sure we are using the correct one for each each insurance. Since we are unable to delete anything that is connected with any services, does anyone have any suggestions how to organize the insurance and employer lists?
Hello, the best way to clean up your insurances is to deactivate the insurances you do not want used. Go to Tables-Insurance-Plans, choose the plan you want to deactivate and edit it. On the top right uncheck the Active button.
Thank you! Do you know if we inactivate the insurance if that effects any claims with that insurance that are currently pending or anything? we have so many duplicates, I am looking to like inactivate and just have one.
I am so sorry I didn't see this come through, if an insurance is inactive it will not affect any claims that are currently being processed. You just won't be able to submit any new claims.
