We are requesting a future update to have "nickname" field be visible in EMR section not just Workspace, so the clinical team and doctors can address patients correctly. (It would also be nice to have the nickname field visible in the Patient Search window under Detail.)
This has become more and more important with transgender & non-binary patients to be updated in WinOMS. Additionally, it would be ideal to have new field options in the Demographics such as Preferred Pronoun, Preferred Gender, and renaming Nickname to something like Preferred Name. This is now standard at hospital intake forms, such as EPIC.
