1. Click Tables.
2. Click Procedures.
3. Click Codes.
4. Enter the dental code.
5. Click Find.
6. Highlight dental code.
7. Click Edit.
8. Type medical code in 'Cross Code' box.
NOTE: Enter in dental code followed by an 'M' (i.e. D9220M). This will allow the D code (Dental Code) to be added as a medical cross code. The 'M' will not print on the insurance claim form nor will it transmit in an electronic claims batch.
9. Click the ellipsis button.
NOTE: When clicking the Ellipses button, if an error occurs stating 'No Records Match Your Selection Criteria', the code does not exist in the database and will need to be added.
10. Click OK.
